A dedicated full-time team ensures the effective day-to-day running of the Hub, providing consistency, responsiveness and operational continuity. Depending on the nature of the assignment, the Hub also engages a network of expert consultants to deliver specialised technical input. Our staff have previously led and supported infrastructure assignments in government, consultancy, and development finance institutions - experience that directly informs the quality of our current work.

Johnson is the Chief Executive Officer of Miundo Misingi Hub, an infrastructure firm based in Nairobi that offers advisory and action-based training in project finance, sustainability, and Public-Private Partnerships (PPP). As a project finance and PPP consultant with over 15 years of cumulative experience in East Africa’s infrastructure sector, he has hands-on expertise in structuring, implementing, and managing the full PPP project cycle. He has delivered PPP advisory services and training to government and private-sector clients across Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, Zambia, and Ethiopia.

In addition to his role at Miundo Misingi Hub, Johnson serves on several prominent boards. He is a Director of the Taita Taveta County Investment and Development Corporation, the investment arm of the County Government of Taita Taveta, where he advises the Governor and County Executive on infrastructure investment. He also sits on the Board of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Resilience Hub for Africa, providing guidance on resilience building and sustainable development across 46 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Johnson contributes to the academic community as an adjunct lecturer in the Executive Programme on PPP at Strathmore Business School, Kenya’s premier business school. Through this position, he shares industry-based insights and best practices with senior executives and policy-makers.

A Certified Public Accountant of Kenya, Johnson is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK). He also holds leadership roles within the World Association of PPP Units and Professionals (WAPPP), serving as a Steering Committee Member and Chair of its Finance Chapter. WAPPP is the largest global association of PPP experts, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.

Before founding Miundo Misingi Hub, Johnson worked with the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain and with Isolux Ingenieria S.A. In these capacities, he was involved in the financial structuring, planning, and management of infrastructure projects in energy transmission and distribution, roads and bridges, real estate, and power sectors across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Gambia, and Senegal.

Johnson holds a First-Class Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from Strathmore University, Kenya, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Project Finance from Middlesex University, London. He has earned an APMG PPP Certificate, an Envision Sustainability Professional Certification from the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure, and the CPA certification, alongside numerous specialized trainings in project finance and PPP.

An ardent champion of inclusive and sustainable infrastructure, Johnson frequently speaks at global conferences and has published articles in both print and online media on topics ranging from PPP innovations to resilience and sustainability.

Sharon is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and holds a law degree from the Nelson Mandela University, South Africa. In addition to her LLB, she has been recognized by the ImPPPact Global Alliance and appointed as one of its ambassadors for Kenya to champion achievement of the sustainable development goals through PPPs. She is an Australia Awards recipient having been selected to participate in the Public Private Infrastructure Projects Course in Australia and South Africa. She is also an APMG certified PPP practitioner and an alumna of the Africa Project Finance Program.

Her experience over the last twelve years has included advising various corporations on large scale infrastructure projects in various sectors including hospitality, healthcare, real estate and road construction. Sharon brings tangible, recent and practical experience on operational infrastructure PPP projects in Kenya.  She has been involved in the structuring and implementation of Kenya’s pioneer road PPP projects including leading as the CEO of Special Purpose Vehicle entities that delivered road PPP projects in Central and Western Kenya and Kenya’s first Annuity PPP project where she was the Head of Legal at the PPP contractor and operator of Lot 33 of the Kenyan Road Annuity Programme.  Sharon has therefore been at the heart of legal risk assessment, concession agreement negotiations and drafting, mobilization of financing, contract management as well as dispute resolution in infrastructure projects.

Austin is a recent graduate in Bachelor of Business Science in Financial Engineering from Strathmore University, with a strong academic foundation in financial modeling, investment analysis, and data driven decision-making. He is passionate about applying financial tools and creating models to solve real-world challenges, particularly within emerging markets.

In 2023, he placed third in the Invhestia Financial Modelling Competition, a recognition of his ability to build financial models under competitive conditions. He also interned at Cytonn Investments as an Investment Analyst Intern, where he supported portfolio analysis, and gained exposure to real estate and private equity strategies.

New to the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) space, with a particular interest in implementing robust financial models in infrastructure and development finance.
