About Miundo Misingi
The Miundo Misingi Hub is East Africa’s first Hub dedicated to excellence in infrastructure finance and development.
In addition to multiple ad hoc training programs, the Hub runs the Africa Project Finance Program and the Graduate
Infrastructure Program as part of its capacity building pillar.
The Hub is looking for a competent, energetic and highly organized individual to manage the implementation and
expansion of the various capacity building initiatives in infrastructure project finance and development.
Desired Profile
The candidate should possess the following:
1. Good understanding of infrastructure project financing especially in emerging markets;
2. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting or related field;
3. A Masters Degree preferably in Business Administration, Finance or related field is preferred;
4. More than 5 years’ experience in running successful capacity building programs in Africa;
5. Excellent verbal and communication skills
6. Excellent report writing skills
Duties and Responsibilities
Acting as a liaison between the Program staff and senior management, the Program Manager will be in charge of the
following:
1. To help in the structuring and launch of different programs aimed at enhancing practical skills and knowledge
in the infrastructure industry across Africa;
2. To review and refine the structure, content, and delivery methodology of the different programs of the company;
3. To enhance the standards, governance, and quality control of the different programs of the company;
4. To develop, implement and manage budgets of the different programs run by the company;
5. To oversee the delivery and implementation of the different programs across the entire cycle;
6. To report on the progress of the different programs to the management of the company;
7. To coordinate and manage the different members of the Training Faculty of the Programs;
8. To identify, train and manage the staff of the different Programs;
9. To engage key partners and stakeholders in the infrastructure finance and development space to establish
possible collaboration to enhance capacity building in Africa;
10. To structure and drive a marketing strategy that will optimize the visibility of the different programs of the
company;
11. To manage the day to day running and delivery of the different programs of the company;
12. To identify key infrastructure projects in the region for possible visits and case study documentation;
13. To liaise and engage with government ministries and procuring authorities for possible meetings and
consultations;
14. To manage and drive the activities and initiatives of the alumni association;
15. To manage an up to date database of all the graduates of the different programs of the company;
16. To identify and negotiate for employment opportunities for the graduates of the different programs run by the
company.
