Program Overview

A robust, structured, and transparent financial model is the engine that drives effective decision-making in infrastructure project financing and Public-Private Partnership (PPP) transactions. The ability to build, analyse, and interpret financial models is essential for sound project structuring, informed negotiations, and successful financing of infrastructure PPPs across Africa. Yet many government contracting authorities lack in-house financial modelling expertise, limiting their capacity to effectively structure and deliver bankable projects.

The Financial Modelling Program is an intensive 8-day, hands-on, in-person training offered by the Africa Project Finance Program of the Miundo Misingi Hub. The program is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge of project finance and PPPs and the practical financial modelling skills required to structure, evaluate, and interpret financial models for infrastructure projects in Africa.
