The Miundo Misingi Hub is representing the owners of an operational retail mall based in Nairobi that are looking for a strategic equity partner to inject USD.9 million for 30% of the shareholding in the business. The proceeds are aimed at boosting the cashflow health of the mall that is currently at 65% occupancy.
The retail mall is a four storied building, sitting on a 3-acre piece of land with an overall built-up and lettable space of 360,000 and 165,000 square feet respectively. The mall has 400 car parking lots available to its customers. The third floor exclusively hosts 25,000 square feet of conferencing and exhibition facilities.
The mall is strategically located, only 10kilometres and 15 minutes from the East Africa’s biggest and busiest airport, the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and is near the Eastern Bypass highway and the recently launched Nairobi Expressway.
The mall has attracted various established retail and corporate tenants from Kenya and abroad, with the region’s biggest retail chain of supermarkets as the anchor tenant.
